Happy New Year. First a little history for those who are just joining our journey of home ownership in Italy.
In August 2008, my husband and I bought a small property in Italy where sustainable tourism is bringing forgotten villages to life. Built in 1630, our home is in a medieval hillside village called Fossa just an hour and a half east of Rome in the province of Abruzzo. We were drawn to the promise of sustainable tourism where centuries-old homes are respectfully renovated, village life is revitalized and the local economy is invigorated. The chance to be part of something grand and green with properties among the best-priced in Europe was irresistible.
Seeing and believing, I am now representing sustainable tourism projects in Abruzzo and Basilicata. Stop by my website at http://www.lifeinitaly.us for a visit.
